The sourcing strategies in travel and meetings continue to evolve.  This session will provide you with tools to take your travel sourcing program to the next level.

Our keynote speaker, Dr. Aurora Dawn Benton is the founder of Astropto and a member for the GBTA Sustainability Committee.  Globally, companies have shifted their supply chain sourcing to better reflect the values of the stakeholders that expect sustainable and responsible sourcing practices.  In short, sustainability is no longer a "nice to have" but an imperative.  Often travel buyers are missing opportunites to incorporate sustainability because they lack the tools to evaluate and build a business case.   And suppliers have sustainable features to share but don't know when and how to leverage them in their discussions with potential clients.  Ms. Benton will discuss how incorporating sustainability into your travel and meeting programs will elevate it and deliver to company goals and initiatives.

Our panel of experts will represent additional opportunities outside of the the big 3, air, hotel and car, to expand your program by managing what traditionally is not managed.  These areas are ripe for additional savings to be harnessed.  Learn where you can better control overall Travel & Expense by bringing higher level of visibility into these very manageable expenses.

Ryan Sokoloff, Mentor on the GBTA Ladders Committee will address how this valuable program can help you be better at what you do every day and the importance of knowledge sharing and mentoring in your personal and professional development.   Ryan will lead our roundtable discussion as we brainstrom on "Moving from Trust to Numbers" in our buyer/supplier relationships.  The GBTA Ladders committee will be reporting on the overall theme at the conference this year in Chicago.  Your ideas can be a part of this important global discussion.

Additionally, we will host a roundtable for direct members/buyers only prior to the event to allow you time to knowledge share and brainstorm.
