CNFBTA kicks off 2020 with its "Next Gen" educational series.  Our first educational forum will offer a deeper dive into the newest technologies in the travel industry.   Our featured speaker is Tracie Carillo, Senior Vice President at Travel Incorporated.  Traci focusses on new emerging technologies in the travel industry and is a true "visionary."   Tracie will be joined by Doug Beeuwsaert, Chief Revenue Officer of the Lyndon Group, a global business consulting firm that specializes in Travel & Expense Spend Management, Accounting and Finance.

Our Industry Spotlight speaker will be Perry Davis, Regional Product & Program Distribution manager for Lufthansa Airlines.  Perry will bring us up to speed on NDC and Lufthansa's development efforts.

We will close the day out with an interactive roundtable session where you can brainstorm and collaborate with your peers on the creation of the ideal Travel App for traveler use.   Who knows, new ideas shape our industry and you may be a part of the next big "thing."

Traci Carillo, Senior VP, Travel Inc. 

Tracie Carillo is a travel industry veteran with over 20 years of travel technology expertise. As Senior Vice President at Travel Incorporated, Tracie oversees the Business Development and Marketing divisions with a focus on new technology initiatives. She specializes in aligning technology innovations to the underlying root issues of end users, supporting the unique corporate culture of various companies, while balancing that to the business and cost recovery objectives for each corporation. Due to her vast range of industry knowledge leading sales organizations within the Corporate 100 and multinational travel companies, Online Travel Agencies (OTAs) and Global Hospitality specialists, Tracie has been requested as a featured speaker at the Beat Live, Institute of Supply Management, various industry conferences and multiple BTA chapters.  

Doug Beeuwsaert, Chief Revenue Officer, the Lyndon Group 

Doug Beeuwsaert serves as the Chief Revenue Officer for Lyndon Group, a professional services firm providing travel and spend management services to many organizations, including Fortune 50 firms, middle market organizations and emerging companies.  In his current role, Doug is responsible for directing all efforts related to driving revenue in all areas of the Firm and through a number of revenue sources.  Doug has been instrumental in growing Lyndon Group’s client base all over the world.  He spends much of his time speaking with potential or current clients, presenting at industry events or supporting Lyndon Group’s talented group of spend management professionals. He is also a self-professed college football fanatic and suffers from withdrawal symptoms during the seven-month off-season.

Chad Costa, VP Of Sales, Traxo

Growing up in the Pocono Mountains in Pennsylvania and with over 20 years of sales experience in the travel industry, you can say that travel is in Chad’s DNA. Before joining Traxo, Chad has held numerous strategic sales and leadership roles for American Express Business Travel, Egencia, Expedia Affiliate Network and HRS. His extensive, global sales background covers all market segments from SME to large, global organizations in corporate travel management, hotel distribution and travel technology.

Chad currently lives in Dallas, TX and when he and his daughter are not planning or taking their next Disney vacation, you can find him watching and cheering for the Cubs, Redskins and Islanders.

Kristin Labelle, Business Development Manager, OTA Insight

Kristen Labelle represents OTA Insight, managing Sales for the AMER region, where she focuses on engaging local and global players in the hospitality industry to share the challenges they face in the digital landscape. Her company provides industry leading tools and insights to empower hoteliers and Asset/Hotel Management Companies to make smarter revenue and distribution decisions.

Kristen has held a number of roles in the industry over the past 10 years, with top US chains such as IHG, Hilton, and Marriott. With her ample experience in Business Development strategy, Revenue Management, and Operations, she is especially aware of the challenges hoteliers face in understanding dynamic market demand, rate strategy, and channel distribution. 

Her main passion and focus is on building relationships to help hotels, properties, and management companies optimise their revenue and distribution strategies and overcome any technological barriers. OTA Insight is a multi-product company, providing innovative customer-centric tools in support of key decisions driving hotel success. The company was awarded the #1 technology slot for Rate Shopping & Market Intelligence by HotelTechReport for 2020!

Christine Vittorio, Enterprise Account Executive, TripActions

It’s one thing to enjoy travel, but to enjoy business travel? That can be a challenge. Christine empathizes deeply with the business travelers TripActions serves by making it easier for them to be on the road. With a BA from DePaul University and an MBA from SDA Bocconi, Christine understands the benefit of using technology to put the traveler first. Her key value — it’s all about the traveler.

Julian Pless, Senior Vice President, Travel Payment Solutions 

Juliann Pless joined CSI in 2010 holding several different roles in client support and travel services during her tenure. In her current position, Juliann oversees the sales, product management and operations of the company’s travel specific virtual card solution, CSI Travel.

Juliann has successfully managed the team responsible for the growth of CSI Travel by establishing strategic partnerships, building brand awareness, and increasing customer engagement. The success of CSI Travel can be attributed to Juliann’s superb leadership ability, expertise in corporate travel payment solutions, and ongoing dedication to the program.

Juliann resides in Fort Myers, Florida with her husband and two sons. She has served as the Co-Chair of the GBTA Payment Solutions Committee since it’s inception, alumnus member of SWFL Impact, and leads all corporate social responsibility initiatives for CSI. In 2014, Juliann was honored among the top ’40 Under 40’ rising business stars in the region. She frequently shares her knowledge and experience through national speaking engagements.

Perry Davis, Regional Product and Program Distribution Manager – The Americas

Perry’s professional experience expands over the last twenty-five years in the area of Business Development and alternative Distribution Solutions. He has an undergraduate degree in International Business, Foreign Languages, and an MBA in Technology Management. Perry's graduate thesis was on “United’s Path to Economic Recovery” during the reorganization of 1999 suggesting that airlines become customer centric and less operationally driven. As a former Ethics Lecturer at Sonoma State University Graduate School, his business philosophy has always been based on the presumption of ethics where all individuals will do the right thing for the good of customers. Perry has interacted with a variety of audiences, personalities, and cultures in promoting teamwork by recognizing that individuals must work collectively and individually to achieve success.

Perry's personal life has been committed to mentoring our youth as either a coach or as a volunteer. He's a firm believer that coaches serve as mentors and their impact on young adults is immeasurable. There is a time in everyone’s life where we begin to question our commitment to society. I have made a conscious decision to serve my community. Perry has lived a lifestyle of “volunteerism” and looks to make differences in today’s youth by teaching them the importance of academics and athletics

Perry's current position at Lufthansa German airlines is Regional Product and Program Distribution Manager – The Americas and primary responsibilities are to educate and drive alternative distribution solutions in this new era of distribution technology.
