2019 Board Applications Now Open - Nominate or Volunteer Today!

Join our Dynamic CNFBTA Board - Calling all volunteers to fill vital roles on the 2019 CNFBTA Board!

The CNFBTA Board is made up only of volunteers and we need member involvement to be successful.  Please give some thought to increasing your commitment to our organization and consider volunteering to be on the Board in 2019!

-Director of Venues
-Director of Communications and Technology
-Director of Membership 
-Director of Sponsorship
-Direct Liaison (must be a travel buyer, a Direct Member of the Association)

Golf and Gala!

CNFBTA will be hosting a Golf and Gala Event for the first time this year on December 7, 2018.  CNFBTA invites you to join us in beautiful St. Augustine at the Slammer and Squire Golf Course for our Golf Outing followed by our Annual Gala at the Renaissance World Golf Village.  December is a perfect time to visit downtown St. Augustine for Nights of Lights, book the CNFBTA rate of $99 at the Renaissance World Golf Village for the weekend and enjoy the hotels complimentary shuttle service to downtown St. Augustine.  Registration is open for both events and sponsorship opportunities are available.  Please register on the events page and join us!

Education That You Can Count On!

Why attend CNFBTA Educational Forums, you may ask? The benefits of CNFBTA membership and educational opportunities are numerous. We strive to deliver educational content that keeps you abreast of the ever-changing travel industry by providing insight from industry experts and your peers. We secure speakers and panelists that you want to hear from and content that is actionable and will keep you relevant. Our events also offer great networking opportunities for you to mingle other travel professionals in from all over Florida and the Southeast.

2018 Year to date, CNFBTA has delivered two CE accredited educational forums. In February, our 1st Quarter educational forum was in Jacksonville and presented content to help our members and attendees “Build a Best in Class Travel Program.” In April, our 2nd Quarter educational forum was in Orlando with a focus on “The Future of Travel Distribution.”   In addition, in May and June we organized roundtable networking and Orlando and Jacksonville Airport tours called “Walk In My Shoes.”

As we move into the second half of 2018, CNFBTA will continue to deliver best in class educational content with our 3rd and 4th quarter Educational Forums.

On September 13th, our program will focus on “Empowering the Travel Buyer.”   This event will be held in Altamonte Springs (Orlando area) and will bring together well-respected industry experts along with a panel of your peers to provide you the tools to be best leverage travel supplier negotiations and data analysis.   3 CE credits apply. On November 8th, our final educational forum of 2018 will take place in Jacksonville. The theme is “Meeting & Events – Be Prepared.”   From our GBTA keynote to our moderator and panelists, you will learn what it takes to create and manage a Strategic Meetings Management Program that can deliver cost savings and risk reduction to your company.

Follow these quick and easy steps to receive a certificate for free parking:

1. Make a reservation through your online Spot Club account or the Parking Spot Mobile Application. (If you do not have one, follow this link for signing up or email Jack Brate,, with any questions).
